QUI SOMMES-NOUS ?
Special Needs Planning Workshop est une organisation ayant une connaissance et une expérience approfondies dans les communautés locales à besoins spéciaux et déficiences. Nous avons collaboré avec des centaines d'agences locales et organisations sur l'île de Montréal. Plus de 50 organisations ont accepté de soutenir notre salon, y compris plusieurs organismes nationaux et provinciaux, et plusieurs s’y ajoutent tout le temps.
Dans l'accomplissement de notre mission, nous avons monté une exposition visant à rassembler les fournisseurs de services ainsi que les personnes handicapées ou à besoins spéciaux. Précédemment, nous avons organisé de nombreux ateliers à l’aide de nombreuses organisations et institutions pour atteindre cet objectif. Auparavant, la plupart des présentations ont été concernant les prestations gouvernementales, en plus de conseils de planification financière, mais nous sommes en croissance !
Ces présentations ont été bien reçues et tous ceux qui y ont assisté ont quitté avec un sens de valeur, armés d'information très utile. Nous avons offerts ces ateliers en collaboration avec les organisations et les individus qui ont une clientèle ayant des besoins spéciaux car cela permet aux parents de bénéficier de cette information.
Parce que nous sommes investis ayant vaste expérience dans les communautés à besoins spéciaux ou à déficiences, nous comprenons la façon de bien les servir.
Special Needs Planning Workshop is an organization with thorough knowledge of and experience in the local special needs and disabilities communities; we have collaborated with hundreds of local agencies and organizations on the island of Montreal. Over 50 organizations have agreed to support our Fair, including several national and provincial organizations, and many more are signing on all the time.
In fulfilling our mission, we have assembled an exhibition aimed at bringing together providers of services as well as to individuals with disabilities and special needs families. In the past we have arranged numerous workshops through many organizations and institutions to fulfill this goal. Previously, most of the presentations have been regarding government benefits as well as financial planning tips but we are branching out!
These presentations have been well received and all those attending left with a sense of value and armed with very useful information. We have been giving them in conjunction with organizations and individuals that have a special needs clientele as this allows their parent body to benefit from this information.
Because we have a vested interest and vast experience in the special needs and disabilities communities, we understand how to properly serve it.
Our mission is to bring together the best available special needs resources under one roof. The Montreal Special Needs Fair offers a wide variety of resources to individuals and their families with physical, mental and cognitive limitations. Often individuals and their families do not know what exists or how to access services. This trade show gives the public the opportunity to come and learn about the large variety of resources and services that are available in the Montreal and surrounding areas.
